BLIA in conjunction with the Adaptive Sports Foundation is hosting the annual Wounded Warrior Weekend on the third Burden Lake this weekend at Camp Adventure to honor those who have served our country and have been disabled. ASF has adaptive equipment that enables these wounded soldiers the ability to enjoy water sports.
There will be a boat parade for lake residents to show their support. We will gather in front of Alamo’s (Al Weidmans) on Sat. evening at 6pm. The parade will cruise up the west shore and continue around in front of Camp Adventure. If you would like to be in the boat parade and show your support, be at Alamo’s for a 6pm start.
